The first thing to take into account is how dress code. How formal do you need to dress? For anything other than a casual hang out at home, we recommend skipping the sweats. Women’s sweatpants and jogger pants are great for everything from lounging around the house to hitting the street for your daily jog, but they’re considered extremely casual, so you probably don’t want to wear them on a night out. The one exception in the activewear category is leggings. A solid black legging can easily be dressed up with a sharp skirt and a dress blouse to create a stunning formal look, it’s all about what you pair it with. Another great comfy option is women’s jeans.
